Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' has a BOMBASTIC opening day occupancy!

Shah Rukh Khan's Raees has finally released and the Rahul Dholakia directorial is already creating a storm at the box office. With advance bookings of around Rs 13 crore, the film has already leaped ahead at the box office.

Trade website BoxOfficeIndia.com reports that the film has opened to a huge response across the country right from tis morning shos. At  key mass centres, the film has been running housefull right from the morning shows. Overall, on a non-holiday, the film has experienced a fantastic occupancy rate of 60-65% at the theatres. 

That's great considering it clashed with Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil. Raees released across 3400 screens in India (approx) and according to the trade portal, it has outperformed all other SRK films in most areas, especially in West Bengal, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh/Nizam region. 

With another holiday coming up tomorrow, Raees is only expected to rake in higher numbers on Thursday.
