Varun Dhawan's star power has worked magic for Dishoom. While his camaraderie with John Abraham has turned out to be one of the major highlights of the action entertainer, the audience seems to be loving every bit of the film.
Result? After a Rs 11.05 crore opening, the film has witnessed a spike in its collections on the second day. According to early trade buzz, the film has grown by over 30% from Friday and recorded occupancy of over 60% across the nation.
Trade pundits predict that the film will earn somewhere in the range of Rs 15 crore on day 2 and with Sunday also being a holiday, the film will eventually have more than Rs 40 crore in its kitty in the first 3 days flat. Now that's good news for the producers.
With Kabali and Sultan slowing down and Madaari washed out of the theatres already, Dishoom doesn't have any competition and is expected to enjoy a nice run at the plexes till Independence Day when the big clash between Rustom and Mohenjo Daro happens.
