Box Office: It's Rs 11.25 crore for Alia Bhatt-SRK's 'Dear Zindagi' on Day 2!

The Gauri Shinde directorial latest flick Dear Zindagi starring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan among other, has taken a huge leap in its collections on Day 2. 

The movie which gathered Rs 8.75 crore on the first day of its release, managed to rake in Rs 11. 25 crore, thereby making a total of Rs 20 crore in just 2 days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account and wrote, "#DearZindagi shows SUPERB growth on Day 2... Fri 8.75 cr, Sat 11.25 cr. Total:  20 cr [1200 screens]. India biz."

Now, considering the fact that the movie has been released in only 1200 screens and was made at a modest budget of approx Rs 30 crore, the Box Office numbers seem pretty impressive. Trade buzz suggests that DZ will be able to recover it's cost by the end this week. Hence, the collection figures on Day 3 are to watch out for. 

Moreover, the further collections of the film will be guided by the acceptance of DZ by the audience from Monday onwards.

Dear Zindagi is a slice of life flick, which delves into the problems faced by a young cinematographer and how her life guru helps her seek the solutions.
