Bollywood's Gen-Y actors Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra stand by Salman Khan

The local court has announced the verdict on Salman Khan's long standing hit and run case. Bollywood's young brigade responded to the verdict in their own manner.

Salman Khan has spent over 25 years in the industry now. Going by the number of box office blockbusters he's given the industry or the amount of fandom he enjoys, Salman's an idol for most new age actors. With the five year sentence meted out to the actor, three of the most loved Gen-Y stars came out in full support of Salman. 

Arjun Kapoor and Salman's relationship goes a long way. While Arjun was dating his sister Arpita Khan, Salman helped him and encouraged him to become an actor. Even till date, Arjun gives Salman full credit for his career. After news broke out, Arjun took to Twitter to pledge his support to his favourite Khan.

Mahesh Bhatt and the Khans have been family friends for decades now and Alia Bhatt too updated a small status and stood by the actor in his tough time. 

Parineeti Chopra, who is now in news for signing Salman Khan's next production film Jugalbandi opposite Saif Ali Khan, also tweeted about the verdict.
