Several Bollywood personalities today flocked to the historic Ramlila Maidan to witness the swearing-in of Arvind Kejriwal as the Delhi chief minister. Actors Gul Panag and Jawed Jafri, who had contested the Lok Sabha elections on AAP tickets from Chandigarh and Lucknow respectively, attended the swearing-in ceremony.

Actors Ayub Khan and Shekhar Suman were also present at the Ramlila Maidan. "I am here at the Ramlila Maidan to witness the moment because we are here not to do politics but to change it," said Jafri, who landed in Delhi in the wee hours of Saturday.

Suman said his visit to Ramlila was based on his instincts and intuition. "It just came right form my heart. So, I got up and came here. I like this man (Kejriwal) for his resilience and honesty. There are no political motivations behind this," he said.

Actor Ayub Khan said he attended the event because he supported corruption free India. "He (Kejriwal) has touched the most important point, which is corruption," he said. Several personalities in Bollywood are known to be ardent supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party.

This includes noted music composer Vishal Dadlani, who came up with hit song Paanch Saal Kejriwal. The song played a crucial role in party's campaigning. Raghu of MTV Roadies fame too is closely associated with the party.
