Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is set to make her south debut

It has now been confirmed that Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi will play the lead actress in Mammootty’s film White. This movie is being directed by Uday Ananthan.

The director has stated to media that was Malayalam superstar Mammootty himself who recommended Huma Qureshi for the role in White. In between it was reported that actress Trisha was being considered, but it looks like Huma has been finalised for the role. 

According to reports, Huma Qureshi was allegedly offered roles in Tamil movies with Vijay and Suriya but she chose to make her south debut in a Malayalam film. She is said to have loved the script of White and accepted the film.

The crew will start shooting the film in November in London. It is said to be the story of an older man who falls in love with a younger woman. Mammootty apparently plays a rich businessman in the film. How he meets Huma and what happens between them is the story of White.
