Bobby Flay becomes first chef to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Chef Bobby Flay received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and became the first chef in history to be honoured at the event.

The 50-year-old was joined by his mom Dorothy along with his daughter Sophie, who said a few sweet words about her dad's achievement, as well as his ex-wife, Sophie's mom Kate Connelly, People Magazine reported. The Food Network star joked that he didn't get the star because of his cameos in Entourage and mentioned that the feeling of becoming the first ever chef to receive the honour was amazing.

This was Flay's first public appearance since he filed for divorce from wife Stephanie March in April.
