Bipasha Basu undergoes a surgery – find out why!

Bipasha Basu, who was last seen romancing Karan Singh Grover in Alone underwent a surgery recently. But why? Well, many of you might not know this but Bipasha had shortsightedness. And the actress did not want to wear glasses because of which she got a corrective eye surgery done at a suburban clinic.

Reportedly, Bipasha had been intending to go for this surgery from a long time, but given her choc-a-bloc schedule, it was getting postponed. However, when her upcoming film, Nia, which is being directed by Vikram Bhatt got pushed ahead and the her brand endorsements were done with, it was only right for Bips to get it done.

Bipasha, who has been advised to stay at home for at least a week is now happy that the operation has corrected her problem of not being able to see distant objects clearly. She is recovering now, though she cannot watch television for a long time or expose her eyes to the sun.
