Actress Shruthi wins Bigg Boss Kannada season 3

The third season of Bigg Boss Kannada drew to an end tonight with a grand finale. Finalists Master Anand, Chandan Kumar, Rehman, Pooja Gandhi and Shruthi made it to the last stage of the reality show.

Actress Shruthi won the show while Chandan and Master Anand came second and third respectively. Shruthi's win is an unexpected twist as the Anand and Chandan were considered frontrunners among the five finalists.

This is similar to first and second season of the show when Vijay Raghavendra beat Arun Sagar to win the first season while popular contestant Srujan Lokesh was defeated by Akul Balaji in the second.

The show is hosted by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep.

While have Chandan, Rehman, Pooja and Shruthi had great fan support, the hot favourite to win the show was Anand.

As the finale began, Pooja was the first of the finalists to be eliminated.

Most of the eliminated contestants who came back for the finale, felt that Anand would take home the trophy.

The show began on October 25 and started with 15 contestants- Tsunami Kitty, Pooja Gandhi, Rehman Haseeb, RJ Nethra, Ravi Mooruru, Bhavana Belagere, Huccha Venkat, Neha Gowda, Shruthi, Madhuri, Chandan, Kruthika, NC Aiyappa, Jayashree and Master Anand. 

Through the course of the show, the wild cards who entered the house were Gauthami Gowda, Sushma Veer and Mithra.
