Bigg Boss 9 Exclusive: Here's how much Imam Siddique is getting paid for his week-long stint!

Bigg Boss 9 has otherwise been a really dull season. Low on TRPs and the daily dose of entertainment, time and again, the makers' ploys of increasing the ratings fell flat on their faces. First, they decided to bring in wild card entries who turned out to be either damp squibs or just one-week-wonders. It was only Priya who made some impact. Nevertheless, Bigg Boss makers had planned a trump card in the penultimate week. In the form of Imam Siddique. 

Imam entered the house in last night's episode and although he was unexpectedly gentle on the first day, the promo and sneak peek for Wednesday's episode tell a very different story. Imam has been brought in to complete a mission. Or should we say, a few missions. To increase the show's ratings. To make the contestants' lives hell inside the house. And to choose another finalist for the show. But do you know how much he's charging for his one week stint inside the house?

A source reveals, "Imam is charging a bomb to be on the show. He is very aware of the fact that the makers are in deep trouble for the low TAM ratings this year. He is getting almost Rs 1 crore to do what he's expected to do this entire week." A source close to Imam tells us, "He deserves the amount he's charging. If they can pay Rimi Sen Rs 2 crore for no reason, then Imam's remuneration seems justified. The ratings of the show this week will be higher than what it has been the entire season."
