Sushant Divgikar is the latest celebrity contestant to have been evicted from Bigg Boss 8. While his seven-week stay in the house had its ups and downs, we have seen Sushant taking up the right stand on every other occasion - sometimes he stood up for himself, sometimes he stood up for his close friends, and at times, he just stood up for what's right!
The person who had voiced his opinions on everything has been eliminated this week and in a chat with dna, he clearly spoke about his friendship with Karishma Tanna and how the entire incident has not brought any changes in his perception towards her.
"I don't hold any grudge against anybody in the house. Had I been there in the house and was asked to sacrifice my items to save a friend, I would have. But Karishma's point was different. I have to set the record straight", he says.
"I and Ali were already nominated by Bigg Boss beforehand and we did not become a part of the nomination process, as in people were asked not to nominate us any further. Ali was nominated because of his misconduct with Sonali and I was nominated because I did not perform last week's tasks. Upen had to nominate five more people and he did, after which all of us were asked to name two out of those five nominated by Upen to be up for nominations along with me and Ali. So Puneet, Sonali, Praneet and Gautam were nominated along with the two of us. Then Karishma was asked to save a contestant at the expense of her make up kit and she decided not to do it," Sushant explained.
However, that is not the whole matter. Sushant also said it was not possible for Karishma to save him as well. "When Bigg Boss asked her to save someone from the list of nominees, it meant saving someone from the four nominated by the housemates and not me or Ali. So in any case she would not have been able to save me. And if not me, why would she even save anyone else sacrificing her stuff? The other nominated people were not even remotely close to her. I also would not have given up on my stuff to save any of the people who are not close to me. I hope this has been explained clearly", he signed off!
