Today, Mona Lisa's boyfriend Vikrant Singh Rajpoot stepped inside the Bigg Boss house with a sparkling wedding ring in his hand and wearing heart on his sleeves to propose Mona for marriage. While Vikrant waited in the activity area against a brightly lit romantic backdrop, Bigg Boss asked Mona to go inside without revealing anything much
As Mona steps inside, she is taken aback by surprise to find Vikrant standing there. When she asks him the reason of his visit, he goes down on his knees, takes out the ring and proposes her for marriage. Mona says yes and the couple will get married inside the house on Tuesday.
Now, this will be the second time someone will get married inside the Bigg Boss house. Sara Khan had Ali Merchant had done the same but their marriage didn't last long. Soon, it was called a publicity gimmick for the show.
Mona and Vikrant too have been slammed on social media, for making their marriage a cheap publicity stunt for mere TRPs. But before entering the house, Vikrant told reporters that it's not a publicity stunt.
"I can’t wait to meet Mona and propose to her. Mona will be excited and may also get emotional. It’s a very important day for both of us and I am happy that we will be tying the knot inside the house. The fact that the entire country will witness our marriage and give us blessings adds to my happiness," he had said.
He added, "We are not making it up as everyone knows about our eight-year-long relationship. We were otherwise planning to get married soon after the show. I feel it’s going to be a historic marriage, not just because it’s happening inside the house but also because it’s real. I would like to thank Bigg Boss for giving us this opportunity."
