Bhojpuri siren Monalisa rocks the desi girl look in sheer sari with aplomb

Antara Biswas aka Monalisa just treated her fans to a new picture of her Jhuma Boudi look on Instagram. The Bhojpuri superstar has nailed the look to the T.

Monalisa plays Jhuma Boudi in web series Dupur Thakurpo. So to bring that character to life, the actress wore a lilac-grey sheer sari with silver polka dots on it. She completed the look with perfectly set wavy hair, sindoor, and bright red lipstick. In accessories, Monalisa wore big jhumkas paired with a dainty mangalsutra and sakha-pola on her wrists.

Dupur Thakurpo's second season will see Monalisa play the character. The popular Bengali web-series can be streamed on Hoichoi.

Monalisa's fame increased many folds when she became part of Bigg Boss' 10the season. The supposed love triangle story of her,  Manu Sharma and Manveer Gurjar got a lot of attention from the viewers. She married another Bhojpuri star Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, her then-boyfriend, inside the Bigg Boss house.

She later did the formal ceremony, attended by friends and family after she got out of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan.

Mona has featured in over 125 Bhojpuri films and acted in several language movies such as Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya and Bengali as well. She is a big name in the Bhojpuri film industry and is famous for her terrific dance moves.
