Bhabi Ji row: Shilpa Shinde faces lifetime ban, loses 'The Kapil Sharma Show' offer as well!

A few weeks back, a huge TV controversy shook the entire nation. It was makers of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai fighting it out against Shilpa Shinde, who played Angoori Devi on the show. After Shilpa decided to make an unceremonious exit from the show and was utterly unprofessional in her approach, producer Binaifer Kohli approached the CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association) for help. 

CINTAA then ordered Shilpa to resume shooting and report back on Bhabi Ji sets but the actress refused to budge from her stance. Now, we hear that the actress has been slapped with a lifetime ban. 

A leading daily reported that CINTAA has now issued a non-cooperation directive against Shilpa, which means that no broadcaster will be allowed to work with the actress anymore. The actress cannot sign anymore TV shows as well. 

"We tried to reason with the actress on several occasions. Finally, we have decided to act on the issue after contemplating over it for a month. She is setting a wrong precedent and we have no choice but to support the producer," Amit Behl, chairperson, Dispute Committee, CINTAA told the daily.

This means that Shilpa won't be seen on The Kapil Sharma Show as well. Although the actress has been in talks with the makers of the new comedy series for some time, this decision comes as a huge blow to Shilpa. She's left with nothing- neither Bhabi Ji nor Kapil Sharma's show.
