Beyonce and Jay-Z stun the world with surprise joint album 'Everything Is Love'

They also released the video for track titled 'Apeshit.'

Beyonce and Jay-Z surprised the world yet again when they dropped a joint album on Sunday (IST). A set of nine songs is titled Everything Is Love.

Along with the album, the king and queen of hip-hop unleashed the video for the second track on the album called 'Apeshit.' Directed by Ricky Saiz the video was shot in Louvre museum in Paris in May.

The video begins with The Carters standing in front of the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. A deserted Louvre is a rare incident and one has to take it all in.

More of the world's finest art makes an appearance in the video as Beyonce, clad in finest Versace, Burberry, Givenchy dresses, dances with the synchronized crew.

Jay-Z's lyrics go:

I said no to the Super Bowl

You need me, I don't need you

Every night we in the endzone

Tell the NFL we in stadiums too

Tell the Grammys fuck that 0 for 8 shit

Have you ever seen the crowd goin' apeshit?

According to the credits of the album, Offset, Pharrell, and Quavo wrote the track. Pharrell also contributed in producing the track while Offset and Quavo can be heard as additional voices on the song.

According to media reports and fan posts on social media, Beyonce made the announcement during her London. Beyoncé, who is currently on the 'On the Run II Tour' with JAY-Z, led the crowd in a countdown leading up to the premiere.


The album can be heard on Tidal. Per Beyonce's tweet, the streaming site also has a bonus track titled 'Salud!'

Other credit highlights of the album feature Ty Dolla $ign for the track 'Boss.' TV personality David Andrew Sitek is a writer and producer of a track titled 'Lovehappy.'
