Death hoax about Mr Bean actor Rowan Atkinson is doing the rounds again and this time it's more serious, for those who are believing it.

A 'breaking news' feed is being circulated on various platforms on the Internet that claims that Rowen Atkinson died while shooing a stunt for one of his movies. This is not your ordinary troll post that will just give you the fake news and watch you weep. These sinister posts contain viruses and lead to phishing scams.

The link takes a Fox News templet complete with the RIP message and reads that the actor crashed his car while filming the stunt. The date on the link is of 2017. But a lot of people are missing out on this tiny detail.

If you click on the message to know more, according to a report in Metro.co.uk, you get diverted to a 'security message' that says that your computer is locked and to unlock it you need to call the number on the screen.

If you make the call, you will be coaxed to give credit card details.

According to Express.co.uk report, a new version of the same mail is also being circulated with the 2018 edit.

For those who are concerned about the well being of the comic actor, Atkinson is alive and kicking. He just wrapped up the shoot for Johnny English 3. The movie is set to release in October 2018.
