A lot of people have spoken up about Sunny Leone’s sexist interview with Bhupendra Chaubey and now her husband Daniel Weber has slammed the journalist. He told Bollywoodlife.com, “has a notion like anybody else and to speak down to her is very uncalled for and unprofessional and especially as a journalist I have to be honest, if your job as a journalist is to be honest you have to report the truth and not come in opinionated. If you want to form an opinion after, form your opinion after but listen to the facts first. You are reporting to the whole world especially as big of a news outlet that is. I believe you have a justice to do and a moral obligation to report fairly and not come in with pre-conceived notions of how you want the interview to turn out. That is why people are commenting on it.”

He goes on to claim that if he knew Chaubey was going to behave like that he would have ‘grabbed and taken her out of the interview'. He also lauded the way Sunny handled the situation and added: “My wife is a true champion. She is more than anybody will know; only I will know of course as we share something different. I have seen that girl fight through the craziest of comments and craziest of negativity faced towards her in her life and I think she has a heart of gold. I am amazed every day; I tell her all the time that she is blessed. Not me, I am a very different person. I got a chip on my shoulder, I get angry very easily. She is the sweetest and you know what at the end, good things happen to good people”

Weber also denied that the interview was scripted and a publicity stunt. Meanwhile others from Bollywood also came out in support of Sunny. Rishi Kapoor said: “Very unfair and rude interview with Sunny Leone... She is taking it on her chin sportingly, obviously in the interest of her coming film.” Fellow actress Anushka Sharma added: “This downright distasteful interview shows d journalists intellect & lack of basic human respect & nothing else.”

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan said: "Sunny, I wil b happy 2 wrk wid u. I hav absolutely no problems wid ur "past", as the interviewer puts it. Stay blessed. Love. a (sic)." In an interview, which has garnered a lot of negative attention on the social media and from Bollywood celebrities, Sunny, a former adult star, was asked whether Aamir would want to work with her and she said, "Probably not." When asked why, she replied, "...because of my background?," adding she would love to work with "PK" star. The interviewer then asked, "So you would want to work with Aamir but Aamir wouldn't?"

To which Sunny said, "I have no idea. You have to ask him.I am still gonna be Aamir's fan and watch all his movies." Aamir also praised the actress for conducting herself with a lot of grace and dignity during the interview.
