Believe it or not: Virat Kohli asked Anushka Sharma to refuse Sultan?

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were once one of the most adorable pairs in Bollywood. Not anymore. The two have parted ways on a rather sour note and aren't in the mood to get back together as well. Reason? Virat's dominating nature! 

Yes, ever since the split, there were reports that Virat had proposed Anushka and they broke up once she denied his proposal. All that's not true. It seems there is something else that ended their relationship. It was after Anushka got the offer to be leading lady for Sultan opposite Salman Khan that she shared the news with beau Virat. He obviously didn't like it and wanted her to refuse the film.

Sadly, Virat wanted Anushka to slow down in her career and rather take out time to learn how to run a house. Virat has marriage on his mind and Anushka definitely has other plans. Anushka is producing three films already and will even act in one of them. Also, she has two more films- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sultan - in the pipeline. That leaves no room for marriage and that's why Virat asked her to slow down.

While she initially thought Virat was joking, on realising that he's actually serious about her dropping out of the film, she decided to take a strong stand. And the rest, as they say, is history! Sorry Virat, but here even we can't stand by what you asked her to do. After all, Sultan is one of the biggest films to hit theatres this 2016 and it will only add to Anushka's calibre and career graph.
