Bejoy Nambiar’s Agni Natchathiram remake on hold

Bejoy Nambiar who was set to direct the remake of Mani Ratnam’s hit Tamil film Agni Natchathiram has put the film on hold, reports a tabloid. The film stars Harshavardhan Rane and Dhanush. 

However, Dhanush’s dates were clashing with a South film and even his look for the remake was not working out reports the daily. The shooting can commence only after these issues are sorted out.

Meanwhile, Bejoy is set to direct another film, which is a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, the casting for which is on. The film will go on the floors in October. The filmmaker is also said to be in talks with Farhan Akhtar for a film. Bejoy’s last directorial, Wazir, starred Farhan and Amitabh Bachchan.
