'Beauty and Beast's' Catherine is a Bollywood fan!

Time and again, we have come across Hollywood celebrities confirming their fascination for all things Indian. Adding her name to this list of Bollywood faithfuls is Kristin Kreuk who plays the lead role of Catherine in Beauty and The Beast, aired on BIG CBS Love. Having worked in a movie with an Indian theme along side actor Irrfan Khan in the Canadian production Partition, Kristin recently revealed that that she enjoys not only Indian culture and couture, but is a great fan of desi dance moves and music.

Speaking about her love for India and Bollywood Kristin Kreuk says, “I love India.

I really do. Indian crews are so skilled. There are so many religions and so many different types, food, spices, fabrics and textures. Then there’s Bollywood.

There are epic films. And they’re so much fun. Even if they don’t translate it and it’s in Hindi, you can still understand because it’s so extreme. My friend Rose and I watch Bollywood movies all the time. Recently,  she sent me Devdas.” The actress also reveals her tryst with Bollywood music in an Indian restaurant abroad. “There was Bollywood music and everyone was dancing, so even I  joined in along with my friends and did the Bhangra with big masks on!” she smiles.
