Balika Vadhu ends: Did Mahhi Vij just blame the PR team behind the show's declining TRPs?

It's bad news for TV! Balika Vadhu which has been running for the last eight years will be airing its last episode on July 31. 

Balika Vadhu has not been receiving great response from the audience and there's a sharp decline in the show's ratings ever since the leap happened and Mahhi Vij and Ruslaan Mumtaaz were brought in. The lead actors recently had revealed that they haven't been informed about the closure then but now, Mahhi has indirectly blamed the team for the show's failure. 

She indirectly blamed the PR team for not being too active in generating the hype for the show's new innings. "The show was not promoted well with the new timings, and people didn't know about it," she was quoted by India Today. 

She feels the change in the show's timing caused a major blow to the show's successful stint. "When the slot changed from 8 pm to 6:30 pm, I was quite disappointed. But you just have to work and not see the slot. TRPs will drop. If your slot is shifted to 6:30 from 8 pm, of course the TRPs will drop," she told the same portal.
