Bajrangi on screen: Salman Khan to lend voice to Hanuman in animated feature film!

He played Hanuman bhakth in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and now Salman Khan will be the voice of Bajrangbali in an animated feature film Hanuman Da Damdaar. It was the idea of lending his voice to a children’s film that excited Salman who is extremely fond of kids.

As per a tabloid, when the actor was approached, he was intrigued by the ‘da’ in the title and gave his nod. So enthused was the actor while dubbing the lines, that he would croon Main Hoon Hanuman Tera in between shots, the director is quoted saying.

The film is directed by Ruchi Narain who had earlier scripted Hazaaron Khwaishain Aisi. This will be the second animated film on Bajrangbali after Anurag Kashyap’s Return of Hanuman.  While Anurag’s film was a modern tale set in a village where Hanuman is born,  Ruchi’s film will be based in mythology and fiction. It will be Ramayan from Hanuman’s angle and is slated to release by the end of this year.
