Akshay Kumar's next film Baby has generated quite a lot of buzz with its incredible trailer and promos. Akshay, who is 'proud to be a part of the film' is all smiles about Neeraj Pandey's work. But once you mention Baby and Holiday and talk about their similarities, the actor turns defensive.

"Baby and Holiday are absolutely two different films. But the two stories have only one thing in common - the main context or the backdrop is the same. Both the films deal with the theme of terrorism but that is just it. Nothing else is common. The techniques, the antagonists are different. The story lines are diametrically opposite- while Holiday was a fictional story, Baby is more realistic in approach", claimed the actor.

But does that mean that Baby is inspired from real life events? "15-20 real stories ko milaake eksaath Baby ko banaya gaya hai", Akshay clarified. "There was a time when the high commander in Delhi had selected built a team of twenty -twenty five people who were highly skilled and trained to kill terrorism. This was hidden from everyone including the media. It is a highly confidential mission and the code name for this group was Baby. The film too is named Baby for the same reason. It was started newly hence Baby suits the film", Akshay revealed the reasons for selecting the title of the film.

While the title took most by surprise, Akshay was also one of the same crowd, he confided. "I was surprised and taken aback. Mujhe laga ki is movie ka naam Baby kyun hai? Then I realised that this is why the film is called Baby". Extremely close to his heart, Akshay considers Baby a very 'special film'. The actor has always confessed that more than him, its wife Twinkle Khanna who wants Akki to get a National Award. Will Baby fetch him one, we ask! "I don't know about National Awards. Jab milna hoga woh mil jaega. But today, if you ask me, along with slapstick comedies and commercial cinema, these films appeal to me and that's why I am veering towards a Holiday or a Baby", smiled the actor.
