Gurvinder Singh, whoseChauthi Koot won the National award for best Punjabi movie, says Baahubali did not deserve best feature film honour at the awards.

"Not only me, everybody is saying the decisions are not correct. Baahubali is perhaps the worst film ever to have got a National award. And that too the best film," Gurvinder told PTI.

SS Rajamouli's Baahubali was the only regional film to have won in the top categories at National awards as most of the winners were from Bollywood including best actor for Amitabh Bachchan, best actress for Kangana Ranaut and best director award to Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

SS Rajamouli's multilingual magnum opus was the only film to win in the top category as Bollywood dominated the list of awardees announced on Monday. Baahubali: The Beginning, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannaah, released on July 10, 2015.

The film also bagged National Award for special effects.
