A magnum opus split into two parts, with as much as Rs 250 crore riding on the film, Baahubali started off as a huge risk for filmmaker SS Rajamouli and his producers. Three days after its release, Baahubali has come up with amazing figures. The film which has been raining moolah at the box office ever since it released has already raked in Rs 165 crore worldwide (including all versions).

The film had turned out to be the biggest opener with collections ranging around the Rs 60 crore mark on day one. As much as Rs 50 crore came from India itself and around Rs 12 crore came from the overseas market. The film dropped a bit on Saturday and collected around Rs 50 crore globally, taking its two day worldwide net collections to Rs 112 crore.

Sunday, being a holiday was another big day as Baahubali continued its winning streak and managed to get another bombastic figure on its third day. The film netted around Rs 53 crore on its third day (including all versions) from the domestic and international market taking its three day total to a whopping Rs 165 crore.

Given that the director has spent around Rs 250 crore on his pet projects and the film has survived the anticipation and hype, people are now waiting for the second part to hit screens next summer, which means Baahubali will easily recover its investments. Now all that needs to be seen is how much the film collects in its lifetime.
