Baahubali 2 has been blitzing past box office records left, right and centre in the country. The movie has already raked in an approximate of Rs 540 crore in India and is all set to surpass the lifetime gross of the original - in just its first four days! The movie, in fact, is on track to becoming the highest grossing Indian film of all time. Now, Baahubali: The Conclusion has conquered another box office.

Baahubali 2 has now emerged at No. 3 at the US box office. The film has even managed to surpass Tom Hanks and Emma Watson's The Circle, which was released to over 3,000 screens and pulled in $9.3 million in its opening weekend. The SS Rajamouli film pulled in $10.1 million, despite being released to only 450 screens this Friday. This performance surprised many critics, most of whom expected Baahubali to pull off numbers as high as $5 million. Others were dumb-founded by how Baahubali managed to surpass Tom Hanks and even Emma Watson, who was coming off of her own box-office smash, Beauty and the Beast

The two movies which surpassed Baahubali at the box-office this weekend were Fate of the Furious and How to Be a Latin Lover. Fate of the Furious, with $19.4 million, continues to rake in the big bucks despite being over three weeks old. Critics and box-office analysts were also surprised by the success of How to Be a Latin Lover, starring Mexican star Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek, which earned $12 million over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 doesn't seem to have any competition in India, and should be ruling the box-office for the next few weeks.
