Ayesha Takia and hotelier husband Farhan Azmi welcome baby boy

Actress Ayesha Takia and her hotelier husband Farhan Azmi welcomed a baby boy on December 6 in Mumbai. The actress was due in mid-December but gave birth early.

The news was broken by the proud new dad, who tweeted the arrival of his bonny baby boy.

Takia who was a child artist made her debut in 2004 as an adult actress in Abbas-Mustan's Taarzan: The Wonder Car. Though her debut failed the actress went on to work in films like Wanted, Dor and No Smoking.

In 2009, Takia married Farhan Azmi and was seen hosting reality show Sur Kshetra on the small screen last year.
