Mumbai-based all-vocal ensemble Voctronica has a special treat for AR Rahman fans on his 49th birthday.

AR Rahman celebrates his 49th birthday today and as a hat tip to the music maestro, Mumbai-based all-vocal ensemble Voctronica has released what is, in our opinion, a fitting gift for him.

In the video, 'Evolution of AR Rahman,' the group covers Rahman's most loved songs in a medley in under five minutes.

Songs from Roja, Bombay, Rangeela to Slumdog Millionaire, Yuva, and Rang De Basanti as well as several Tamil numbers have been delightfully performed without the use of musical instruments.

Voctronica consists of Arjun Nair, Avinash Tewari, Clyde Rodrigues, Raj Verma, Warsha Easwar.
