Arjun Kapoor was not a part of Sunita Kapoor’s grand 60th birthday celebrations (March 25) last Saturday. The actor spent a quiet day with his sister Anshula remembering their mother Mona Kapoor, who had passed away on March 25. But what made it more poignant was that he was given the day off by his Mubarakan producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde who felt that he needed to spend some time alone with his sister on their mother’s fifth death anniversary.
Says a source, “Arjun turned up for the shoot on March 25 as any normal day when he was informed that, as a mark of respect the team won’t be shooting because it was his mom’s death anniversary. Arjun was so touched by their gesture that he was almost in tears. It’s rare to get a team like this. They had worked the schedule around to let Arjun off the sets.”
