It looks like Pawan Kalyan's upcoming release Sardaar Gabbar Singh is in legal trouble. According to reports, Arbaaz Khan has sent a legal notice to the makers of Sardaar Gabbar Singh for copying Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg 2.

Bollywood Life quoted a daily's report which said that Khan had sent a legal notice to makers of Pawan Kalyan's film for copying the concept of Dabangg 2.

The 2012 film Gabbar Singh had been adapted from Dabangg. The film's remake rights had been sold by Arbaaz Khan to Pawan Kalyan. However, Pawan Kalyan had reportedly said that the Telugu film's sequel will not be a remake of Dabangg 2 and had written the film himself. He also instructed his team to not copy anything from the hit Hindi film, the report said.

The sequel Sardar Gabbar Singh is being produced under the banners of Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Northstar Entertainment in association with Eros International.

The daily's source is quoted as saying, "Arbaaz recently got to know that the film is exactly like Dabangg 2. The makers of Sardaar Gabbar Singh haven’t bought rights of Dabangg 2, since they announced the film is going to have an original story. Now, when Arbaaz got to know he tried to get in touch with the makers and when didn’t get favourable response he decided to send legal notice to the makers."
