Arbaaz Khan returns as the baddie with ZEE5 original 'Poison'

Revenge, love, greed and lust dominate the narrative of upcoming  ZEE5 original 'Poison' starring Arbaaz Khan, Riya Sen, Freddy Daruwala and Tanuj Virwani. 

'Poison' is not just Arbaaz's debut webseries but it also marks his return as the antagonist after 'Dabangg'. In the thriller, he plays a rich, greedy Goa-based drug lord.

Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of 'Poison' on Thursday, Arbaaz told ZEE News, "Digital platform par debut hai mera aur woh bhi Zee5 ke saath, jo itna bada platform hai. Yeh show best hai. Isme pyaar hai, suspense hai, thrill hai. Isme 3-4 kahaaniyaan mix hai. Revenge hai, greed hai, lust hai aur bhi bahut kuch hai. Yeh web series hai lekin ise bade hi filmy commercial tareeke se shoot kiya gaya hai...It's just that the content is expressed in a different way to different kind of audience. That's about it."

When asked if he'll be seen more often on the webspace now, Arbaaz said, "Yeh shuruat hai, it will go bigger and better. Already some amazing stuff is out there. Bahut se Indian shows itne ache the, that's probably the reason that allowed me to want to be on something like this. Because, I have seen that kind of content. When I saw actors, writers and directors doing this kind of work, I was like 'Wow, I want to be associated with such kind of work, too'. So there's some amazing stuff coming up and it's a great feeling."
