The Oscar-winner has reportedly donated Rs 25 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s fund.

The music maestro has been on social media expressing his anguish over the recent disaster in Tamil Nadu. On December 2, Rahman tweeted, “Oh god, please keep my Chennai and its people safe from the floods.”
The Oscar-winner has now reportedly donated Rs 25 lakhs to the Chief Minister’s fund, which will be used for flood relief in Tamil Nadu.
He also wrote a post on his Facebook page about how his studio at home had also been flooded and his family was busy pumping out water every 15 minutes during the incessant rains last week.
