Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli split: Here's proof that it's actually happening!

After Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s breakup, comes the shocking news that Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli have split. Buzz is that Virat wanted to marry the actress this year for which he had even grown a beard as per Punjabi custom. However, when he proposed to her, Anushka said she wasn’t ready to tie the knot yet.

 Adds an insider, “She wants to concentrate on her career now both as an actress and producer. While she has almost completed the shooting of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka is currently busy with Sultan that has her opposite Salman Khan. She will also be producing three films under her banner.”  

After she turned down his proposal, Virat has unfollowed Anushka on Twitter and Instagram. She is still following him on social media. The cricketer has also trimmed his beard. The two were one of the strongest couples who were always there for each other, so the news of their split is shocking, especially in the wake of India defeating Australia in the T-20 series.
