Anushka Sharma to play a journalist in Sanjay Dutt biopic

Anushka Sharma has been roped in for a cameo in Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor, reports a tabloid. Ever since the biopic has been announced with Ranbir playing the role of Dutt, speculations have been rife about who will play his first wife Richa Sharma and who will step into Maanayata’s role. Anushka, however, will play neither. She will be playing a scribe who chronicles Sanjay’s life in the film.       

Rajkumar who is directing the biopic and who has worked with the actress in PK approached her for the cameo and she agreed.
