Even as Reza Aslan was anointed as the 'superstar' of the festival, it was the hilarious observational tweets of the JLFInsider that stole the show on social media

This year’s, otherwise controversy-free, literature gathering was brought alive on the web thanks to the ‘critical reporting’ skills of the ‘JLF Insider’. This anonymous Twitter account that came up on the first day of the five-day festival quickly gathered attention on the cyberverse with his/her witty and hilarious takes on the everyday ongoings of the literati.
The user’s quirky, funny, and mostly apt comments, infused with sarcasm, not only made for a great read, but were also an accurate summation of the festival atmosphere.
“I created this handle a day before the JLF started,” the literary comic shares with us on conditions of anonymity.
“And since I don't tweet very often from my personal handle, the idea of live-tweeting about such an event from my usually defunct handle didn't seem appealing to me. So I set up a new profile and started following some of the people who had been to JLF last year,” the insider explains.
“I never expected the sort of reaction I received. But the bio was a hit!”
JLFInsider's favourite JLF moment was...
“I think, the most entertaining thing happened when most of the audience turned against and booed Shashi Mittal while she was defending her regressive television shows.”
“I had two favourite sessions. One was 'Who Will Rule The World' and the other was 'Black Holes, Worm Holes and Time Machines'. Jim Al Khalili, Mark Mazzetti and, of course, Reza Aslan were speakers that I liked the most!,” he shares.
Here are some of the funniest of the tweets that shot the JLF Insider to fame:

All in all, a very interesting day at the JLF. Reza Aslan made a personal record of speaking 106 words under ten seconds.

Person accompanying me to the #JLF really wants to attend the keynote address by Amartya Sen who's won the Nobel in Physics. This'll be fun.
