Great news! The 'Andaz Apna Apna' sequel is finally happening!

If Gogo's entry made you laugh or Amar-Prem's friendship gave you goals, then there's great news for you - Andaz Apna Apna is reportedly set to have a sequel. 

Acoording to Filmfare, The film is going to be produced by Vinay Sinha in collaboration with Phantom Films. Also, it is to be noted that the rights of the film remain with Vinay Pictures and have not been sold to Phantom Films as heard earlier. 

Andaz Apna Apna 2 is not a remake of the original movie. A source close to the project revealed, "The script is locked. It has been developed by Vivek Soni and Hardik Mehta, who won a National Award this year for his non-feature film on kite flying in Ahmedabad, Amdavad Ma Famous, under the creative supervision of Vikas. It's a super script and promises loads of fun.”

The audience, however, seems to be quite sceptical about the reboot :

A sequel of Andaz Apna Apna without Aamir, Salman, Karisma, Raveena and even Rajkumar Santoshi is like a biriyani without rice n chicken.

While the director and the cast of the sequel are still under speculations, the film  will roll towards the year end and we can't wait to hear about the further developments.
