Amitabh Bachchan's 'Sarkar 3' in legal trouble already?

Ram Gopal Varma started the shooting of his film Sarkar 3 (the third installment of the Sarkar series) last week and it is already in trouble. In a legal notice issued by his lawyer to trade magazines that his client, distributor and negative rights holder, Narendra Hirawat is “the sole authority and copyright-holder/negative right-holder of the said film in the original version and only and only he is in the possession of prequel, sequel, remake and all other irreversible world negative rights for perpetuity.”

Hirawat tells us, “I have all the rights since Sarkar. I have heard that Ramu has started shooting for Sarkar 3. If he doesn’t respond to my notice I will go to the court and get a stay on his shooting. Ramu has not initiated any dialogue with me before he started the shoot.”

Sarkar 3 by Ramu, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Amit Sadh,  Manoj Bajpayee, Yaami Gautam and Ronit Roy among others.
