Amitabh Bachchan gets 'large butterflies in the stomach' ahead of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' launch

As the seventh season of the hugely popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) nears its launch day, megastar and show host Amitabh Bachchan is experiencing the jitters.

"Its time for large butterflies as expressed on the Twitter early this morning, to appear in the intestines and the stomach muscles, for, KBC recordings start tomorrow ...," the actor posted on his blog on Monday.

The seventh season is set to start from September 6, 2013.

Crediting the show's immense success to the audience and well-wishers, Amitabh wrote, "13 years on, and we still survive thanks mainly to the affection and patronage of all you that love and wish us unselfishly ..."

The latest edition of the show, which is based on international quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, will promote the importance of learning and has the tagline which says 'Seekhna bandh toh jeetna bandh (No learning means no winning)'

The show started in 2000 and Big B has hosted five seasons of the show, except the third edition, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
