Amit Mishra debuts in non-film space

After chartbusters like Bulleya (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil), Allah Duhai Hai (Race 3) and more, Amit Mishra is taking the plunge in the indie space with the track Vacation. The singer collaborates with his band members from Amit Mishra Project — Nishith Hegde and Ashwin Shriyan — to revive genres like old school rock and rock & roll with the number that’s filmed on the islands of Trinidad in West Indies. 

Amit says, “The song is upbeat musically and motivational lyrically. It’s youth-oriented and talks about travelling all around the world.” Non-film music took time to fructify for him as he was busy with concert tours and other Bollywood projects. But listeners can look forward to singles from him more consistently hereafter. “But right now, I look forward to the audience’s review for this song,” he says.
