The actor was spotted with businessman Kanav Puri at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week
It might come as a little bit of a blow to the Louis Vuittons and the Chanels but the latest ‘It’ bag may not be so ‘It’ anymore. It’s been replaced by something even more exclusive than LVMH among the ‘marriageable age’ crowd-LBIO, which means London- based businessmen of Indian origin!
After Shilpa Shetty stepped out into the open with her love for LBIO Raj Mundra on Day 1 of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week, Amisha Patel decided to flaunt her very own LBIO — Kanav Puri for the Gauri and Nainika Karan show! Only while Shilpa went simple by using her LBIO in mint condition, Amisha seemed to be going for a more derelict approach with her LBIO—she accessorised him with blue bandages with white pippins around his back and left arm.
Anyway, Amisha, who sniggered in the front row as Bipasha Basu went trippy (this time literally) with her floor length peach and black gown, she herself seemed to be going rather minimal with her look—an orange dress, a pair of branded heels accessorised with her cleavage!
The strange thing though is that the Fashion Week seems to be coming up as the hottest venue to flaunt a new relationship—it was at the Mumbai Fashion Week in 2006 that Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia made their first public appearance as a couple, next season Leander Paes and Rhea Pillai bought their newly born daughter to the green room as Rhea got ready to walk for Surily Goel, and several in between. But nothing has been as dramatic as Amisha and Kanav’s appearance.
The two arrived hand-in hand walking in from their car unnoticed—even the basic courtesy reserved for VIPS to bring their cars till the front of the venue was overlooked. She hung on to his arm (the good one) for a solid 10 minutes as they waited for the show to start and barring a couple of flashbulbs clicking, no one seemed to notice. But as soon as the show finished, suddenly the airs seemed to have been put on. They had been spotted.
If there’s one thing that Amisha knows is how to play hard to get. So they ran out in true blue Bollywood style, giving a byte or two to the TV cameras! And while we do understand the playing hard-to-get part, we don’t understand why Amisha didn’t put in an appearance at friend Vikram Phadnis’ front row as well. Was it just the strike at the airport or…?
