Amidst Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover fight, Raju Shrivastav CONFIRMS being part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'

Raju Shrivastav has now confirmed being a part of The Kapil Sharma Show. Word has it, that he has replaced Sunil Grover on TKKS after the entire fiasco that ensued post Kapil Sharma's shocking behaviour towards Sunil Grover and other team members on a flight back from Australia.

Speculations about the channel looking for other comedians as replacements on the show have been rife for quite sometime now, especially when Sunil Grover along with Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and others boycotted the show and didn't turn up on the sets of TKKS for the shoot. Now, Raju has secured a place in team TKKS.

He confirmed the news to NDTV saying that he has signed the dotted lines for the show, "Yes, I have started shooting for this show. The channel and the team are happy with the episodes I have shot for them and have called me for more episodes."

Reportedly, he won't be donning Sunil's character of Dr. Mashoor Gulati, but will be portraying an all new character instead. "“I don’t know how the channel is going to represent my character or my acts to the audience. But this is true that I’m shooting for the show and will feature in the show as a ‘new entry’,” he said.
