For most of the people in US, 2016 Presidential elections were nothing short of a nightmare.

Now, it looks like Ryan Murphy, co-creator of ?American Horror Story? has decided to depict that actual horror onto the TV screens.

The show-runner, Murphy, revealed that the next installment of the horror series will be based on 2016 US Elections, reports E! Online.

?It's very scary and very fun and very topical, Anybody who voted in the last election will very much enjoy what it's about,? Murphy said.

Ryan remained tight-lipped when pressed for more details.

It seems it is going on to the same path as Season six in which nothing was known before the show aired.

?The People vs Oj: American Crime Story? star, Sarah Paulson and the show?s former star Evan Peters are in the lead show.

But, the director revealed that the actors still unclear about their roles. ?They don't know who they're playing? It's a modern story is all I'll say. We just started back in the writers' room for that.?

No word yet on whether Lady Gaga or any of the remaining cast of the last season will be on board.
