Amal Clooney will be teaching human rights litigation strategies to the students of Columbia Law school in New York City this spring.

The Lebanese-British human rights activist said that she feels honoured for being invited by the Law school as a visiting professor alongside such distinguished faculty and talented student, and looked forward to interact with the next generation of human rights advocates, E! Online reported.

Professor Sarah H Cleveland, the faculty co-director of the Human Rights Institute, said that they were privileged to have the international human rights practitioner to join their faculty, as her experience of advocating before UN and regional human rights mechanisms complements their existing offerings and will enrich the experience of the students.

The news came about when the lawyer recently moved to NYC with her husband George Clooney who is shooting his upcoming flick Money Monster in the city.
