All India Bakchod reveals the line up of NH7 Weekender 2014

One of India's most awaited music festivals NH7 Weekender is back for its fifth edition. And this time it promises to provide an even better musical experience with the line up including famous international artists as well as local music sensations. It's believed to be bigger and better than ever before, with over a 100 artists taking centre stage across four cities. The festival is scheduled to take place on the following dates in the respective cities; November 1-2 in Kolkata, November 8-9 in Bangalore, November 21-23 in Pune and November 29-30 in Delhi.

Over the last four years, NH7 Weekender has gained a popular image for getting the rhythm right, with the perfect mix of various genres of music all the while aiming to live up to this expectation. Only Much Louder CEO Vijay Nair adds , "We aim at creating the perfect festival experience." 

For all those wondering what is this the exciting line up this year? The wait is over, on Thursday NH7 revealed the line up for this years weekender. Amongst the wide range of talented artists the international acts include; The Vaccines, Fear Factory, MUTEMATH, Sarah Blasko, Luke Sital-Singh, Songhoy Blues, Talal Qureshi, Cloud Control, Jon Hopkins, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Sachal Jazz Ensemble, Goldspot and Motopony. Among the popular Indian artists the line up includes; Amit Trivedi, Skyharbor, The Raghu Dixit Project feat. Nrityarutya, Indian Ocean's Tandanu, The Manganiyar Classroom by Roysten Abel, All India Bakchod, Bombay Punk United and The Delhi Alternative, Monica Dogra, Bhayanak Maut and Pentagram (Unplugged).

The Vaccines 
Among the international names, The Vaccines have stirred excitement as its their first ever live show in India, these English Indie rockers will be performing in Delhi and Pune, this year. They have gained their spot in the limelight for What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? Which was the best-selling debut album in the year 2011 in UK. They have performed extensively with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys and other big global rock acts.

MUTEMATH

MUTEMATH set the stage on fire in the Delhi NH7 in 2013, and is all set to come back and give the fans an unforgettable experience. These bold US rockers who have performed all over the world, will be coming to the Kolkata and Bangalore editions this year. Loved by the energy they spread, they hold three studio albums.

Monica Dogra

One of India's leading song writers and female singers, Monica Dogra is all set to reveal her new solo avatar at the Weekender this year. She will be performing in  Kolkata, Delhi and Pune revealing a more personal and vulnerable side to her music. Her fame is associated with  her dynamic vocal and visual performance as 'Shaa’ir’ from electro-pop act Shaa’ir + Func.

Pentagram (Unplugged)

Pentagram are the electro-rock sound that stands as a symbol of Indian independent music scene. Consisting of musical miracles like Vishal Dadlani, Randolph Correia, Shiraz Bhattacharya and Makarand ‘Papal’ Mane, Pentagram has a massive fan following. This year they are going unplugged, playing renditions of their popular songs.
