Alia Bhatt to feature in 'Rock On's sequel?

The latest buzz in B-town is that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been roped in for the sequel to Rock On.

According to media reports, Alia is very much keen on being a part of the movie as she found the script pretty interesting. The other modalities will be worked out soon.

Featuring Farhan Akhtar, Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai in the lead cast, the story knit around the lives of four friends  was a blockbuster in 2008. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Rock On bagged several awards including two national awards.

It has been also reported that the casting for the sequel is currently underway and, it will be directed by a debutant director. 

It is inevitable that comparisons will be drawn between Rock On and its sequel but it will be interesting to see which one becomes the ultimate winner.
