Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor start shooting for 'Shandaar'

Shahid Kapoor has finally taken out time from his busy 'Haider' promotional schedule to start shooting for his next, 'Shandaar' opposite Alia Bhatt. A first time-pairing, the film will be directed by Vikas Bahl of 'Queen' fame.

Initially it was reported that Shahid had delayed the shooting schedule of 'Shandaar' in order to be free to promote 'Haider'. But now it seems both the 'Haider' stars have started shooting for their next films. While Shraddha Kapoor has taken up Remo D'Souza's 'ABCD 2' opposite Varun Dhawan, Shahid has started 'Shandaar' with Alia.

The '2 States' star announced it on Twitter on Monday.

'Shandaar' will also star Pankaj Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor in pivotal roles along with Shahid and Alia.
