Akshay Kumar's tryst with nature...

Immediately after returning from a family holiday (in Cape Town, South Africa), Akshay Kumar quietly left Mumbai. And for those curious about the actor's whereabouts, he is ensconced “in the jungles” of Kerala.

“It’s an annual ritual for Akshay. Every year, he travels to a new place to cut himself off from the world. And this time, he has gone to a meditation centre that is about two-and-a-half hours away from Kochi city. The place is literally surrounded by jungles,” says a source.

While lot of the actor’s colleagues travel to foreign locales, Akshay always travels within the country to “recharge and rejuvenate”. The source says, “Instead of other artificial treatments, Akshay feels that meditation helps him look radiant and increases his strength levels and concentration.”

Akshay will stay at the centre for about 15 days and return home around January 18.
