Akshay Kumar not in Waqt remake

Recently, grapevine suggested that Akshay Kumar would be starring in the remake of 1965's hit film Waqt along with Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan.

However, the news isn't true and this was confirmed by the Khiladi Kumar himself at a press conference held recently.

When asked about whether the news was true, the Khiladi curtly replied,"It's a false story." Considering, the actor has already worked with newbie Sidharth Malhotra in his upcoming film Brothers, it certainly would have been interesting to see him play a part with Sid's buddy Varun.
