Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns might have had a bombastic opening week with over Rs 110 crore coming in but the film failed to put up a great show there after.

The hugely anticipated film did try to rake in good moolah but stiff competition from other content oriented films like Rani Mukerji's Mardaani and Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom has almost put a pause on the film. The film is now currently in its third week and the pace has terribly slowed down. After cashing in over Rs 100 crore in the first week, Singham Returns suffered a major blow with collections dipping to a mere Rs 23 crore over the second week. And the third week has been equally low.

The film is now collecting in the range of lakhs with Mary Kom and Mardaani still putting up a good show. The screen count for the Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer has reduced to 200 and the film is expected to go off from screens, once Bipasha Basu's Creature and Arjun Kapoor-Deepika Padukone's Finding Fanny hits theatres.

Initially, it was a given that the film will cross the Rs 150 crore mark very easily but now, it has even failed to cross Salman Khan's Dabangg's lifetime collections.
