After we reported that Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Returns' has edged past Akshay Kumar's 'Rowdy Rathore' with collections of Rs 135 crore few days back, we also did mention that the film was eyeing to overtake Salman Khan's Dabangg, which has a lifetime collection of Rs 141 crore. But in all probabilities, the feat seems almost impossible for the Rohit Shetty directorial.

'Singham Returns' which had raked in huge moolah at the box office in its opening week had a sharp fall in its second week collections and now in its third week, the collections have dropped to mere lakhs. The film stands at around Rs 138 crore now and at this point, it looks almost impossible for it to overtake 'Dabangg'.

Plus with big releases like 'Mary Kom', 'Finding Fanny' and 'Creature' in the coming weeks, the film will surely run out of screens and finish its collections somewhere around the Rs 140 crore mark. Nevertheless, if the film does pick up in the weekends, which is improbable given its slow pace, 'The Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer might just brush past Salman's 'Dabangg' collections.
